Its a small group of people that post, and I think that's the way they like It!!!!! There just like the guy that's bitching about every thing In a campground. Then you find out he's the one that will look at that piece of trash on the ground for a week but never take a min. just to pick It up!!! What ever you do don't use the word "HOMESTEADING" And yes that Is the way this place Read'z to the MWR!!!!!

Sorry I unset you Jcoyrochny, but when you announce that approximately one third of the sites at some unidentified FamCamp are occupied by Canadians, you really ought to supply supporting information. There are more than 230 FamCamps, and while I have not been to even a quarter of them, I have visited almost 50. Does that make me an expert? Of course not, but I have visited FamCamps from the East to West coasts and from the Canadian to the Mexican borders and have yet to see what you describe. A quick review of responses to your original post seems to support my personal observations. All I am asking you is to please supply additional information that we may determine if what you observed is an anomaly or a trend. Several U.S. bases support a large Canadian presence – Colorado Springs comes to mind, and that may explain what you witnessed. As Sgt Friday said, ‘just that facts, sir’

The "Ticker" reads at this time 402 guests & 2 members online...There are many who not only read, but do post...not all the time, maybe, but when they have something to add to the conversation....HOMESTEADING IS A TOUCHY & HOT SUBJECT here, but because of it, many places we visit have changed things some....MWRs, (some, not all) do read this site (hence, they maybe among the "Guests" listed).....I know they do here at Ft. Stewart/Hunter AAF...Sigbee...Corpus Christi....and a few others....who have commented in the past....

Yes, since we travel the I-95 N & S, we also would like to know where our "Northern Neighbors" are in such great numbers.. as in 8 years, we've only seen a couple....and welcome them when we see them....like anyone else who serves their country....hoping that we, as a group, are also welcomed when we go north of the boarder to visit in their campgrounds...

Just my 2 cents....

jcoyrochny,
I was the first to jump in on this conversation 1 wk and 3 days ago asking where you seen this at, and to this time you haven't answered where it was at. That leads me to believe that you can't answer it. I'm trying to be nice here but we would like to know where you seen this at???

Sat - 1-28-2012 there are (2) two campers here at Destin Army Recreational Center in Florida with Canadian plates. We know for sure that (1) camper is retired Canadian military - the other camper we are not sure of - maybe he is here with someone else. We do not know for sure. Just to let you all know. This is the 1st time we have seen Canadians in military camps.

jcoyrochny wrote: Well, excuse me there John, I thought I was in a forum where people respect each other instead of name calling - I guess I should have sent pictures and license plate numers. Do the others that have spotted plates also get to the firing squad?

John,

Welcome to the forum. Sorry you were offended by the questions raised by members of the forum.

But rather than accuse them of "name calling" and requiring you to send "pictures and license numbers", why not just answer the question and tell us where you observed all these Canadians?
