Friday 1-20-2012 We are currently here at Destin Army Recreation Center in Destin, Florida (pan handle of Florida). There is (1) one camper here from Canada. He is retired Canadian military. I just wonder how we can find out about famcamps in Canada - so that we can stay in them when we travel to Canada. ty/ Mimi

There used to be a book you could buy at some famcamps that told of all the military campgrounds, including overseas and Canada. According to my retired Canuck military buddies, retired Americans are welcome in their campgrounds. Probably has a web site somewhere.

I found an interesting PDF of Canadian military campgrounds/cabins. It may be a little old, but it looks like useful informaiton.

Thanks!

I'll also place this in the FILES section of the website and in the FAQ section.

I also searched the Internet and couldn't locate a newer copy.

Just took a bike ride around Raccoon Creek at MacDill and spotted one RV from Canada - an Ontario plate.
