Does anyone else find it strange that the OP of this thread - jcoyrochny, has yet to reveal which base(s) he found to be occupied by 25 - 35% Canadian. His only response, more than a week ago was to tell all that he was in the south/east; a troll, attempting to start an arguement . . ?

Well, excuse me there John, I thought I was in a forum where people respect each other instead of name calling - I guess I should have sent pictures and license plate numers. Do the others that have spotted plates also get to the firing squad?

An open forum expresses opinion AND personal experience for everyone to share, and each of us should respect everyone here unless he/she earns a different status [ easily done :) ].

But, an open forum is not private communications, if you offer something from your experience, you should expect to either defend what you say and offer names, locations, etc., so others can verify or interact differently if appropriate, or even explain it in more detail.

In this case: I've been MCG camping for lots of years and seen very few if any Canadian campers. Possible some mutual exchange of schooling or training takes place in some areas. SO, if we know where and when this event took place, we could take it to the next level of understanding.

And, we'd probably all like to know exactly where a third of our sites are filled with other than USA military campers.

But for sure, if you're unprepared to defend or amplify your comments, you should probably just read the posts, gather information, and keep your keyboard mute.

Since you are new to the forum jcoyrochny you will soon get to know us all better and understand we are forthcoming with information when we have something we want to share or discuss. It helps us all to better know our military campgrounds and how they operate and what we can expect to find when we get there. The ratings and the comments in the Recreation Facility Info section will be very helpful to you also before you arrive at a campground. I respectfully ask you to share what campground in the Southeast you saw these Canadian plates at as I do spend a lot of time in the Southeast Region and if this is something new at a particular Military Campground we all will be better prepared to know that it may affect our making a reservation or getting a space at all.
