The only post i know of that still has registration is Fort Campbell and if you don't have one there, just get a visitors pass. The park there though is terrible.

I have been to some Navy and Army bases and only had to show my ID. Most don't even have a visitors station open anymore due to shortage of people. If they want me to register or go to a visitors center, they can wait till i find place to turn around and then enough room for both the RV and tow. It seems all DOD should get together on this rule of stickers.

We got our Dutch Star and toad registered at NAS North Island last week. No mention was made of any requirement for emissions tesing! Both vehicles are registered in South Dakota. Once we had our stickers (issued to us by a lady sailor), a civilian employee got upset because we did not have the MH physically there at the visitors center - go figure! Yet one more example of these folks seemingly making up requirements as they go!

Never had that "physically present" problem. When I go to renew my stickers (four - three trucks and a bike) I bring in the registrations, and am usually driving only one at that time.
I processed all four, have registration and insurance documents for each, and walked away with four stickers. No one has ever inspected any of them, except the first time with the bike to make sure I have the right gear on it and my MC license.

I tried to do all my vehicles with one trip but they wanted to put the decals on each vehicle themselves. Ironically, the base I frequent the most (that same base) no longer checks decals. I'm sure with the way budgets are going, those decals won't be required when they exhaust their supplies.

That's odd - been putting stickers on my vehicles for twenty-thirty years or so, and never had security 'offer' to install my decals. Always signed up and they just handed it over, for all vehicles long as I had insurance papers for each one.
