Lamsan, correct pretty much, except maybe the "if you don't like it, don't go there."

That means these jerks are getting away with it and will continue to get away with it. And, it means that's one MCG we can't use, even tho we're entitled to use it.

I recently found out (on this site I think) that the reporting of these incidents falls on deaf ears unless you report it to the IG ... that is the investigatory agency and cannot be 'ordered' off any legitimate investigation. SO, if you see it, that's who should get the report, not simply one of the MCG or MWR management who will ignore it or table it, or circular file it.

The frig on the patio at Pensacola turns out to be a top load deep freezer. Hummmm! This is the first time I've seen something like this here. We're on the back circle and don't think the host comes back here. I don't care what type equipment you have. I have a 5th Wheel by choice. I guess if I owned a motorhome I probably wouldn't see any motorhomes homesteading either. But I have seen them. There were 2 at Mid-Bay with so much junk piled under them and they weren't junkie motorhomes. One was a Phaetom. There is an old beat-up one at Keesler and I know people don't like to hear anything bad about Pelican Roost but there were 2 very large motorhomes parked in the back on full hookup sites. One of the occupants told me she had been there all season whatever that means. And by the way the freezer on the patio belongs to a motorhome.

Creepy to read about a top load freezer in a campground Frank; these always remind me of how people hide a body after they killed someone and think that no one will ever look inside it. I remember that old Phaeton at Keesler too Frank and that was back about 5 or 6 years ago.

Yeah Monkey the jerks are getting away with it but using ICE or talking to management and hosts at some of the campgrounds fell on deaf ears and we give up on complaining. Have gone to some of them for years and decided there are enough other campgrounds we can go to and enjoy ourselves. I hope all of you who continue to pursue the problems and go to the IG have some success and if you do please report it on here so we all know your efforts worked.

I quit complaining to on site management also. I do continue to complain on this site as a lot of people do. If a CG is too bad we don't go back. We stayed at 5 military campgrounds this winter and had a wonderful time at them all even though there were some problems. We stayed at Keesler 3 years ago and said we would never go back. But this year bad weather in the area caused us to stop there instead of the intended Gulfport Seebee base. We had a good stop but will try Gulfport next year. And with your recommendation, Lamsan, we are going to New Orleans next year for a while.

Maybe we can bring Hawthorn back and give each of the campers that abuse our benefits a nice big Scarlet C on their backs ... sew it into the special T shirt we can give them, call it "Cheapo Camper" or maybe follow Hawthorn a little closer and use either A for abuser (another term comes to mind for the A too) and a big old J for Jerk.

Course, most of the time we don't want to meet or know those kind anyway, so we don't miss nothing when we don't meet them.

I'll go along with the "A" and "J" as I've seen several during our travels. I'm with you though, I try to stay away from them.
