I'm a retired CMS of twenty five years. Mostly Air National guard, Four years active on the front end , several long deployments while in the guard for desert storm, 911, ect. I am currently Deputy Chief Of the Illinois Conservation Police. About to retire from here. My wife and I have been married 31 years and meet while stationed at Duluth Minn AFB. We are hard core Rv'ers. Just getting started on visiting as many fam camps as we can. Getting ready for a month long trip to Florida, with stops at Macdill and others...

We have friend who lost her husband a few years back. He was a retired Navy MCPO. She loves to R/V and never remarried. Is she still eligable (sp ?) to camp in military CG?

We love the MCG's because of the immediate friendliness we encounter. Especially in Key West.
Last year we visited McDill, Moody Creek.
Have also traveled to CA from MA and did mostly MCG's
Got the Military Campground Book. Has all the info on all the MCG's and golr courses.

I am retired from Air Force Fire Protection, will be retiring again as a Division Chief/Fire Marshal on April 16. We are planning a six month trip starting on May 1 heading to the Hearst Castle, then up to Napa wine country for a Rally, then up through San Fran, then to the Settale area for a month, will be heading to Yellowstone after that, then to the Dallas Area for a very short visit, don't really know after that, maybe to upper state NY area and Maine to see the light houses, wife also wants to see leaves change. Don't see much of that here in Arizona.
