I tried the diaper thing on him a couple of times and even I couldn't stand watching him waddle down the road.

As a grandma of a 3 year old and a 10 month old I agree with keeping children on a leash.....However during the day i expect to hear children screaming having fun and carrying on...that is why most campgrounds have quit time and I try very hard to keep them quit and occupied at these times and for the most part quit time starts at their bed time so no worries here..but unfortunatly when they fall or get hurt or in trouble you may here them....As a dog owner I cant stand to have to watch out for other peoples landmines...I ALWAYS have my weiner dogs on a leash... And I keep copies of all health and shot records in my RV... I dont take my dogs around other camp sites unless invited...Same with the grandkids....What i dont get is why some people arent prepared when they walk their dogs the make leashes the hold poop bags....I carry both poop bags and a pooper scooper if you need to borrow them i will glady lend them out just return the scooper poop free of course lol... As for the dogs left alone in the rv while we are out sight seeing I leave a radio on or the tv as to drown out the out side noises as they bark if they think your are coming into their "home"... I also make sure the blinds are closed so they cant see people walking aroud either

We do the same thing with the TV. Our dog is accustomed to the TV as background noise even at home. In fact, when we turn it off he jumps up like a bomb was dropped. Whenever we leave the RV we always close all the blinds as a matter of habit. We do try to take our dog with us as much as possible even if it means eating in the car sometimes. We are just pet people and do not like to leave them alone for extended periods of time.

We live in a small town in the hills of Virginia and have an interesting ordinance that might be adopted for MCG use.

When walking one's dog the owner walking such dog shall have in his/her immediate possession a means of immediately removing any "deposits" left by said pet. Fine of $50 for first offense.

MCG fine could be immediate eviction from the park. I have two dogs and never walk them anywhere without my trusty bags with me.

Should any other pet owners or pet haters not concur, just be thankful I don't camp next to you and bring all 18 grandkids! That ain't gonna happen.

Should I be convinced to do that, I'll be the guy that smells like a broken keg of Jack Daniels hangs from the nearest tree with the big smile on his face, celebrating the piece and quiet of the afterlife.
