I did inform the campground host as I always do even though I hate to. Now that you brought it up about informing hosts; there was another RV there that had folks leaving barking dogs inside their unit during the day when they went away. The rule followers that we are we told the host and the next day the unit was gone. What bothers me is the unit was not parked next to us, it was two rows behind us and this went on for 3 days before we finally said something. Units parked on both sides of it so they had to hear it. Maybe we were the third complaint, not really sure how many people have to complain before someone is asked to leave. We try to be tolerant of pets as we have had dogs (not in RV though) and we now travel with one cat, so we do not notify a host immediately unless it is putting someone in danger as I was with the ankle biter. I think waiting 3 days to complain about dogs barking inside was long enough.
